AdStudio

AdStudio is a content management software program for AdQue® Systems.  An easy-to-use filmstrip layout allows you to place a sequence of items in the exact order that you want them to appear on your AdQue® displays. This sequence is called a StoryBoard.

StoryBoards

StoryBoard items include Flash animations, static JPG images, full-motion videos, and more. If you have purchased AdQTV with your AdQue® System, you can even schedule TV to play at anytime during the day.  Even MP3 audio files are StoryBoard items - they play in the background while the visual items appear on the screen.  AdStudio lets you create as many StoryBoards as you want. Use specialty StoryBoards for one-time offers or for that open house for the VIPs. Create an after-hours StoryBoard that gives contact information or provides your normal business hours. Put a training video in a StoryBoard and use it when training new employees.  Is a local sports team going to the semi-finals? Configure a TV item for the big game, drop it in a StoryBoard, and let everybody root the team on. A StoryBoard is essentially a repeating image list.  When the last item in a StoryBoard sequence is shown, it's followed by the first item in the StoryBoard.

StoryBoard Special Features

AdStudio provides total control over every item in the StoryBoard. Control features include the following:

• Duration time
• Transition type between static image sequences
• Date and time for first appearance
• Date and time for last appearance
• "Picture frame" background for full-motion video

Scheduling

An AdQue® System uses a schedule file to control which StoryBoard is playing at any given time. AdStudio has a built-in Scheduler interface that lets you create a schedule for AdQue®. You can have the same StoryBoard play all day, every day, or you can schedule individual StoryBoards to play on specific dates, days of the week, hours of the day, and more.

Publish

The Publish feature lets you send a schedule, StoryBoards, and Images to any or all of your AdQue® Systems directly from AdStudio. The sophisticated internal tracking capabilities of Publish keep track of any changes, additions, and deletions you have made to StoryBoards, schedules and image files. When you open the Publish interface, you simply click the appropriate "Publish to" button, and the software takes care of the details.

That's not all, though! The Publish feature lets you manage the AdQue® Album. The AdQue® Album stores any number of pictures, which are displayed in a StoryBoard item sequentially. Put photos of the trip to the museum, or cars for sale, or honor students, or any other image set, into the album. When the AdQue® Album item appears on the StoryBoard, a sequence of three photos out of the total set will appear on the screen. The next time around, the next three photos are shown, and so on.
